MuleBrew Card Creator: Major Overhaul + New Daily ID Season!

MuleBrew Card Creator: Major Overhaul + New Daily ID Season!

GUILD HALL UPDATE — 2026-02-25

If you haven't been on the Card Creator in a while, this is a big one.

The MuleBrew Custom Card Creator has undergone its most substantial update yet — and at the same time, we’re rolling into a brand new Daily ID Season starting March 1.

Not a tweak.
Not a polish pass.
A full systems-level overhaul.

If you like bespoke loot, table-specific items, or handing your players something they’ve never seen before:

Homebrew is officially back on the menu.

MuleBrew Major Overhaul

Faster. Smarter. Built Like a Platform.

The MuleBrew Custom Card Creator lets you design item cards in the exact same format as the PackMule Core Set.

You can:

  • Add your own rules, stats, and mechanics
  • Upload custom artwork
  • Create loot that feels first-party instead of homemade

When you’re done, we print and ship the cards directly to you from the U.S.
No order minimum. No bulk requirements.

This is the moment PackMule stops being just a product…
…and becomes a platform.

A Smarter Creation Experience

The creator now actively helps you build items instead of making you fight the form.

Weapon Templates (35+ Official Options)

You can now start from over 35 official weapon templates, fully pre-populated with:

  • Damage dice and damage type
  • Weapon properties and masteries
  • Weight, cost, and range
  • Matching artwork

Simple, martial, melee, ranged — it’s all there. You can still customize everything, but you’re no longer starting from zero every time.

ADDITIONAL TEMPLATES for ALL SRD items will (eventually) be added, but will likely incur a small cost to access for editing.

Armor Templates (All Core Armor Types)

All core armor types are now available as templates:

  • Light, Medium, Heavy
  • Shields included

Each template comes pre-filled with:

  • Armor Class formulas
  • Strength requirements
  • Stealth penalties
  • Don / doff times
  • Weight, cost, and artwork

Designing armor is now fast, accurate, and hard to mess up.

Ammunition Support

Ammunition is now a fully supported item type.

The system handles:

  • Quantity tracking
  • Storage containers
  • Weight and cost
  • Visual quantity indicators that scale as ammo is used

Arrows, bolts, sling bullets — they now behave like real game objects instead of notes in the margins.

NEW: Custom Item Types

This is one of the quiet power features.

You can now select “Custom” as an item type and enter your own name.

Two ways to use it:

Generic Custom Items

Create completely free-form items that don’t fit into existing categories.

Custom Variants of Existing Types

Choose an existing type (Armor, Weapon, Ammunition), then select “Custom” in the subtype field.

You still get:

  • Armor AC inputs
  • Weapon damage dice and properties
  • Ammunition quantity bubbles

…but under a subtype name you control.

Create:

  • Non-standard armor categories
  • Setting-specific weapon classes
  • Experimental gear
  • Entirely new systems

Flexible — without breaking structure.

The Interface Reacts to You

Some of this has been live quietly for stability testing. It’s now officially announced.

Guild Rank Accent Colors

The entire interface themes itself based on your Guild Rank:

  • Buttons
  • Highlights
  • Borders
  • Progress indicators

Your rank now feels different — not just labeled differently.

Item-Type Icons

Every item type now has a visual identity:

  • Weapons
  • Armor
  • Potions
  • Rings
  • Scrolls
  • Tools
  • And more

Scanning is faster. Flow is cleaner. Everything feels intentional.

Dynamic Backgrounds (Item + Rarity Based)

As you build an item, the background art shifts dynamically based on:

  • Item type
  • Item rarity (mundane → legendary)

Forges. Arcane chambers. Potion labs. Leatherwork tables.

This was an aesthetic upgrade — but required significant backend architecture work to make reliable.

Physical Ordering Is Now Live (Guild Rollout)

Test manufacturing orders have been successfully completed.

The pipeline from:

Creation → Checkout → Production → Physical Cards in Hand

is now operational.

U.S.-based manufacturing is locked in.
Pricing is finalized.
The infrastructure is real.

Guild Rank Rollout

  • Diamond Rank — Ordering is now live.
  • Platinum Rank — Checkout activates tomorrow.

We’re expanding access downward by Guild Rank in controlled waves to stress-test fulfillment before opening it wide.

This is no longer theoretical.

This is creator-to-physical manufacturing.

MuleBrew Is Now a Full Pipeline

We now have:

  • Item creation
  • Character Cards
  • Custom Item Types
  • PDF import
  • Template packs
  • Physical manufacturing
  • Tiered pricing
  • Editable print selection
  • Live checkout (Guild rollout active)

This is not just a generator anymore.

It is infrastructure.

NEW DAILY ID SEASON

Alongside the MuleBrew overhaul, a brand new Daily ID Season is underway.

Season 2 will end on February 28th at midnight!
winners will be announced March 1, and a NEW SEASON will begin.
Season 3 will START MARCH 1 and reset all stats (except your lifetime EXP and Guild Rank, don't worry!) so that another group of winners can be selected for free prizes!

Where This All Points

Reminder:
The PackMule Ultimate Inventory System officially launches April 21st.

That date is coming fast.

This MuleBrew overhaul — and live physical ordering — are major pieces locking into place before that launch.

We’re no longer preparing systems.

We’re activating them.

More updates soon as ordering expands and the new Daily ID Season heats up.
